Christmas Memories 2006

I am sitting on the couch in Port Arthur, on Christmas day, typing away on my new laptop... life is good...

A few of my kid moments...

Caroline, Colin and Lani pretending that they are "scientist-es" fighting the flu -- by beating him up.

Lani comes in to the kitchen where Analida and I are working and asks if she can paint Caroline's nails. Analida says we don't have any nailpolish. So Lani disappears, and a few minutes later Caroline shows up and wants me to admire her nails! Lani's Christmas present to Caroline was a Fairytopia nail polish kit and the girls decided to open it a day early! Got to admire Lani's initiative.

Caroline acting as tour guide as she leads us through her "Museum of Pretty Things" which included barbies, fake jewelry and stuff. She had a great tour guide voice.

Seeing the cuties in their new Christmas pajamas.

Here is Caroline's goodbye letter to her best friend Faith:

Dear Faith,
You were the closest girl to a sister I have ever had. I will miss your funny voice and your good sense of humor. Your smile made me smile. I always felt good when you were near me. I hope we can still be friends. I will miss you very much. Your very close friend, Caroline

They leave on Saturday morning, so it's time to break out the kleenex.
